Global Poverty Project

The Global Poverty Project is a community education group that aims to increase awareness and action in regards to extreme poverty through a series of presentations to be delivered around the world beginning in 2009. Supporting the eight Millennium Development Goals set out in 2000, the project aims to raise awareness of extreme poverty and facilitate global action.

Kavilando


Kavilando is a Columbian-based group of students and professionals from differing disciplines. The group monitors, researches and analyses Human Rights abuses in Columbia and across the world. Kavilando aims to act as an open space to create discussion, reflection and the formation of socio-political groups in Universities, to elaborate and implement projects that promote the development of civil rights, freedom of expression, and social democracy and justice.

Right to Play

Right To Play is an organization which aims to improve the lives of children in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world by using the power of sport and play for development, health and peace. Right to Play is committed to giving every child a chance to become constructive participants in society, regardless of gender, disability, ethnicity, social background or religion.

World Vision

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. It works to change the root causes of poverty through campaigning, church partnerships, education and influencing policy makers. World Vision has some 40,000 staff members (including part time and temporary staff and employees of microfinance institutions) that implement programmes of community development, emergency relief and promotion of justice in nearly 100 countries.
